VETERAN TRIBUTE PROGRAM

The Veteran Tribute Program

Some flags carry more than color — they carry a name. Through our Veteran Tribute Program, we retire flags in honor of individual veterans, reading their story aloud before the ceremony so their service is spoken, heard, and remembered. It's our way of making sure a life of service gets its final salute.

HOW IT WORKS

A Personal Process — Four Steps

01

Nominate a Veteran

Anyone can nominate a veteran — a family member, a battle buddy, a neighbor, or yourself. Fill out the nomination form below with a short bio telling us who they are and what their service meant.

02

We Review the Story

Our team reviews each nomination and reaches out to coordinate. Every story matters to us, and we handle each one with care.

03

Their Story Is Read Aloud

At the ceremony, we read the veteran's story before the retirement — their name, their service, and what they gave. The people gathered hear it, and so does everyone with them.

04

A Flag Retired in Their Honor

A flag is retired in that veteran's name, with full ceremony and respect. Their name then joins our Digital Wall of Honor, where it stays.

Thank you for your nomination. We review every submission personally and will reach out to coordinate the ceremony and confirm the details of their story before it's read.
