The Fourth of July Ceremony
A World Record,
Retired With Honor
On the Fourth of July our Color Guard set a world record for the most American flags retired simultaneously — 17,169 of them, in a single ceremony, each one given the farewell it earned.
The campaign behind that day is still open. Every gift goes straight into the ceremonies still ahead, the education programs, and the veteran tributes read aloud at each one.
